Stolonising

Stolonising is a process that can be used both to plant new areas or overplant existing grassed areas. Using an innovative machine that produces the sprigs from fresh turf at the time of planting, slices the ground and drops the planting material. This places most of the sprigs below the surface, which is sealed off by the rear roller.

This allows better moisture control with the soil needing to be kept moist during establishment. Stolonising ensures minimal soil disruption, so the use of the area can soon resume with minimal interruption.
